Empowering migrant women through storytelling, inclusion, and digital upskilling

The STORYLIGHT project sheds a light on the journeys of migrant women who have fled their home countries and are building a new live in their host country. Through this project, we aim to enhance their digital competencies while promoting equal access to opportunities and combating discrimination against marginalized groups. STORYLIGHT offers flexible online and in-person learning expereinces to empower women with the essential digital skills for a more inclusive future.
STORYLIGHT primarily focuses on migrant women, a group that represents a significant portion of the world’s illiterate adults and often faces barriers to employment, education, and social inclusion. These women struggle with limited access to learning opportunities, making it crucial to provide them with digital skills and storytelling tools to amplify their voices and enhance their participation in society.
The project also targets adult educators and migrant support workers, particularly those working closely with migrant women. Educators require continuous professional development to effectively support marginalized groups, especially women living in remote areas with restricted access to education and training.
Additionally, adults in general are considered key beneficiaries, as they will engage with the project through public events, social media campaigns, and digital learning materials, benefiting from awareness-raising efforts and accessible training resources.
